This Privacy Policy explains how Filipina Next Door (FND, we, us, or our) handles information through filipinanextdoor.com, our related FND authentication/contact site, and waitlist correspondence.
FND is an early community for adults aged 22 or older. Email-verified members can complete a real profile and upload their own photos. Saving a completed profile with its publication notice can list it and enable member connections and messaging before a screening interview. Screening pending is not a verification or safety guarantee. Tim and Vanessa are co-founders/team contacts, not dating matches. Online billing, automatic paid trials and AI profiles are unavailable.
1. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your first name, your selection of the ladies’ or men’s waitlist, your selected contact method and email address or WhatsApp number, your confirmation that you are at least 22, and your permission to contact you. We also record when you submitted the form and which consent wording you agreed to.
We store your contact details to manage your entry and contact you. We also use a transformed version of your contact details to help detect duplicate submissions. This does not make your waitlist information anonymous.
On eligible public informational pages, FND uses tawk.to for human support chat. Loading the widget shares technical information such as your IP address, browser/device, page/referrer and usage information with tawk.to and may use cookies or similar storage. If you start a chat or leave an offline message, tawk.to processes the name, email and message you provide so the FND team can reply. Do not include passwords, verification links or payment-card details. Our team replies personally; this does not promise immediate or round-the-clock availability. The widget is excluded from profile, member, messaging, account/authentication and admin screens. See https://www.tawk.to/privacy-policy/. Email and WhatsApp support remain available.
If the FND team invites you to promote the community, we store the name and email supplied by the team, a prepared referral code, invitation expiry and delivery/acceptance status. Invitation emails are delivered through Resend. A new promoter creates their own password and confirms their email using our existing authentication provider; an existing user signs in with their existing account. Invitation tokens are stored as digests, never public profile data. Accepting the affiliate terms enables only that account’s private disclosed-referral dashboard. An affiliate-only account does not publish a dating profile or start membership billing. No promotional emails or payouts are sent automatically.
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message. The support form sends your name, email address, selected topic and message to hello@filipinanextdoor.com. Your email is used as Reply-To so the team can respond. We retain a submission reference, content digest and delivery status to prevent duplicate sends; rate limits use transformed network-address and email information. The form sends no automatic visitor confirmation email. You do not need to send identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive personal information to join the waitlist.
Our website and service providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as network addresses and request information. Our application uses a transformed version of network-address information to help limit repeated submissions and abuse.
Free team-contact accounts collect a display name, email address, password handled by our authentication provider, confirmation that you are at least 22, and terms acceptance. A bare account is private. Profile setup collects a private birth date to calculate public age, general location, public profile answers, photos and separate private partner preferences. Optional faith answers are private unless you choose to share them. Public cards can show your first name, age, general location and main photo; active members can view your public answers and gallery. We process your member and team conversations and submitted reports. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment information or other sensitive personal information in chat.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Maintain the waitlist and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions.
- Contact you through your selected method about the FND launch and personal profile setup, consistent with your consent.
- Save your own profile and photos, display the public information you choose to publish, provide member and team conversations, arrange screening and review submitted safety reports and privacy requests.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Joining the waitlist does not add you to a separate marketing subscription. We do not publish your waitlist entry as a member profile or give your contact details to prospective members through the current waitlist service.
Waitlist consent is not permission to publish a profile or introduce you to another person. Profile publication requires your separate completed-profile save with the publication notice. Incomplete drafts remain private. You can hide your listing, block members and report concerns.
3. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to run the website and communicate with you. These currently include Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security, and video delivery; Google Fonts for website fonts; an OpenAI-hosted service supporting founder-video playback links; Hostinger for email; Resend for delivering support-form messages and waitlist notifications to our team; Supabase for authentication and confirmation email; and Stream Chat for processing and storing private team-contact text messages, and Cloudflare for member-conversation storage using pseudonymous application identifiers. Authentication is configured in Ohio, and Stream Chat in Singapore. Messages are visible to conversation participants and are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized FND administrators can review account records, waitlist entries and submitted reports for administration and safety. If you choose WhatsApp, correspondence also uses WhatsApp. These providers process the information needed for their respective services, including technical information when your device connects to them.
We do not sell or rent waitlist information or provide it to advertisers for their advertising.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or legal claims, subject to applicable law.
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their independent services, including email and WhatsApp accounts you use, are also subject to their own privacy terms.
4. Browser storage and embedded content
The public waitlist does not require an account or sign-in cookies. AI sample profiles have been removed from public access. Previously saved sample selections may remain in your browser storage; these are not real connections and can be removed using your browser’s site-data controls.
The founder-video player loads when you choose to play the video. Fonts and embedded services involve connections to their providers. Account sign-in uses secure HttpOnly cookies on the FND account site. The optional Keep me signed in choice lasts up to 14 days on that device; unchecked, cookies use a browser-session lifetime, which some browsers may restore. Access tokens remain short-lived and refresh tokens rotate. Sign Out ends that device’s app session. Registration confirmation also uses a temporary browser-bound cookie.
5. Retention and removal
We keep waitlist information for as long as it is needed to manage your entry and the launch or profile-setup correspondence you requested. We review whether information is still needed and delete or de-identify it when it is not, unless a legitimate security or legal reason requires further retention.
If you ask to leave the waitlist, we will stop launch and profile-setup outreach and remove information no longer needed for those purposes. We may retain a limited record of your request where needed to respect your contact preferences or meet legal obligations.
There is currently no automated account/message deletion schedule. Contact hello@filipinanextdoor.com for access or deletion assistance. Disabling a temporary FND team profile stops further contact access but does not erase existing accounts or conversation history.
6. Your choices and requests
You can ask to leave the waitlist, stop outreach, correct your details, or request access to or deletion of your information by emailing hello@filipinanextdoor.com. You can also tell us to stop in an existing email or WhatsApp conversation with FND.
Depending on the law that applies, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, obtain a copy of your information, or complain to a privacy regulator. Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.
We may need to confirm that you control the contact information associated with an entry before disclosing or changing it. We will handle requests under applicable law and explain any lawful limits that apply.
7. Age eligibility and security
The waitlist and free team-contact accounts are for people aged 22 or older. Please do not submit an entry if you are under 22. If you believe an ineligible person has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove an ineligible entry.
Waitlist submissions are held in a private database rather than displayed publicly. No website or communications service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. If a change materially affects information already collected, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by law. New member services will need information and terms appropriate to those services.
